Lacey’s Love Dog Biscuits was started in 2007 by LESA teachers and staff and named after a beloved therapy dog that visited Pathway programs regularly. The company employs between 50-70 students annually who are responsible for baking, packaging, inventory, distribution and sales. With guidance from teachers and staff, student employees learn and practice universal job skills to be used at supportive work sites as part of their program. Because our students have moderate to significant cognitive impairments, this work is vital in helping them learn the skills necessary to be productive citizens and to live as independently as possible.
Your patronage allows us to continue this valuable work with students. Money that is raised goes back into the company for supplies as well as to classrooms for community instruction and participation. The company also gives back to community organizations that support our families.
